Our Camps

Welcome to the world of camp at GSGMS. We are very proud of our camp facilities and programs. For nearly 75 years, our camps have helped girls and young women gain the skills, confidence, and resourcefulness to make the world a better place.

Camp Iti Kana -- Camp Iti Kana is located on 339 beautiful wooded acres 8 miles north of Wiggins, Mississippi. The camp features a 55-acre lake, hiking trails, a Jr. Olympic-sized swimming pool, craft house, air-conditioned program center and dining hall, and a nature center. Each of Iti Kana's 5 camping areas offers a covered pavilion with picnic tables, fire ring and modern bath facilities. Each area has comfortable cabins with built-in beds, lights and fans. The cabins in Dogwood, Native Village and Lakeview areas sleep 8 girls each, and Paradise Lost and Tall Timbers have cabins that sleep 4 girls. Each area accommodates a total of 32 girls, for a camp capacity of 160.

Camp Wahi -- Camp Wahi is situated on 156 acres of beautiful hardwood forest in Brandon, Mississippi. the camp offers an Olympic-sized swimming pool, spring-fed lake and scenic waterfall. The living units at Camp Wahi include two spacious lodges and three tent units, all with modern bathhouses. Adventurous campers at Camp Wahi will also enjoy the archery range and low-ropes courses.

Camp Meridale -- Camp Meridale is located on 165 serene wooded acres 7 miles south of Meridian, Mississippi. Tall pines, wooded hills, grassy meadows and a spring-fed lake enhance the rustic charm of Camp Meridale's main buildings. The camp offers a swimming pool, hiking and horseback riding trails, air-conditioned lodge and dining hall, pottery barn, amphitheater for skits and campfires, and an equestrian center with riding arena and 12-stall barn. Camp Meridale has a climate-controlled lodge with kitchen, great room and a 20-bed sleeping area. Camp Meridale's three unique camping units offer either cozy cabins or platform tents. Tall Trees unit offers platform tents, Prairie Cloud features covered wagons, and the Treehouse area lets you sleep among the branches in raised cabins. . Each area accommodates 28 girls and has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, fire ring and modern bathhouses.
