PRODUCT SALES – Cookies and More!

Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi offers two product sales programs each year. In September and October, girls participate in our Fall Product Sale of nuts, candies and magazines. Beginning
in January, girls participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program.

Girl Scout Product Sales Programs benefit everyone involved in Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi. The money earned during GSGMS-sponsored Product Sales stays in our council to support the Girl Scout Program for more than 10,000 girls and adult volunteers in Mississippi. Proceeds help to support our camp programs and facilities, our council-sponsored programs, leader training and adult development programs, property maintenance and development, outreach programs and financial assistance.

Girls taking part in the Product Sales activities learn first-hand the value of making plans and setting goals. They invest their time and energy and, in the process, earn money for their Girl Scout troops or groups. That money can then be used to pay for pins and badges, field trips, fees for council and service unit events, camping trips, service projects, and other special activities that the girls choose to do.

Through participation in the Product Sales programs, girls also learn the 5 Basic Skills that will serve them their entire life and help to make them successful in everything they do.
