Girl Scouting is where today's girls can become tomorrow's leaders. Most girls join Girl Scouts for fun and friendship, but they also find out about building character and self-esteem and serving their communities -- the core qualities of Girl Scouting.
Adult volunteers are essential to the Girl Scout experience. Without the help of dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers like you, Girl Scout wouldn't be possible. We rely on volunteer support to lead our troops, help at program events and camp, teach workshops and more. Our volunteers are inspiring, invaluable, and they have a profound, lifelong effect on everyone they help.
Think being a Girl Scout volunteer is a full-year commitment? Think again. There are so many flexible ways for adults like you to get involved. The time commitment is totally up to you.
Who can be a volunteer? People just like you who want to share their time and talent to help girls of all ages develop their full potential in areas of leadership and commitment to community. Women and men age 18 and over can join Girl Scouts as adult members.
What about training? As an adult volunteer, you will receive the training, support and tools you need to get started . Plus you'll have more learning opportunities and a network of supportive staff and other volunteers to help you along the way.
If you have a passion to help girls develop into tomorrow's leaders, become a Girl Scout volunteer!
