Ways to Volunteer
Girl Scouts offers endless, flexible ways to participate as a volunteer. Whether you're a mom, dad, retiree or college student, we have many ways for you to get involved. It's easy. You can choose to volunteer short-term or long-term, working directly with girls or working with other adults. Whatever way you choose to volunteer, you'll be making a lasting impression on the lives of young girls.
Camp – Share your appreciation of nature and explore the great outdoors with a group of like-minded girls. You can camp by day or overnight.
Events – Have high energy but limited availabilityy? Choose you favorite topics and help girls unleash their potential. During half-day to three-day events, you’ll interact with girls, excite their passions and help them become their best selves.
Series – Do you gave a particular skill or talent? Would you like the chance to work with girls without a long-term commitment? Then share your passion with a focused group of girls who can’t wait to lern your skill or pursue your area of interest.
Travel – Expand girls' horizons. Whether you help plan a trip across the state or around the world, it will be an adventure that you’ll all remember forever.
Troop – Participate in exciting activities throughout the school year with a small group of girls. You’ll share amazing experiences as the girls in your troop earn awards and badges, go on field trips, learn from community leaders and experts on issues that are important to your community and make a difference in your community and the world.
